Siebel : Setting up email Client

Following are the steps :

Navigate to Site Map >> Administration – Communication >> Communications Drivers and Profiles

Select “Internet SMTP/POP3 Server”

Under the “Profiles” Tab, Create a new Profile name with the following details

a. Name: AVROutbound

Now navigate to the “Profile parameter Overrides” applet and enter the following details:

a. From address :  //This is a dummy value

b. Siebel Server : SBL_SRVR1 // Give the name of the Siebel Server where the Communications Outbound Manager component is enabled.

Navigate to “Profiles” Applet and click on Menu >> Submit Profile changes.

Restart the Communication Management Component.

Also navigate to Server Configuration >> and add the profile names under email client.
